Now available at BlockAmps.com, guitar cabinets that you can customize. There are 13 different colors of tolex and 11 different colors of grill cloth available at no additional charge. We can also get any speaker you want and if you are in the continental US, you should receive your cabinet in about a week. Made with high quality construction methods and multi-ply Baltic Birch, these cabinets are built to handle the requirements of a rigorous touring schedule. The standard output on all cabinets is a ¼” jack.
Unlike other companies that make cabinets, we allow you to order the cabinets without speakers. That’s right. You can order our high quality empty guitar cabinets with out speakers. This is perfect for the guitarist who has a favorite set of speakers and a damaged cabinet. We understand that sometimes things get wild and equipment gets knocked over.
There are three series of cabinets currently available, The Block Bluesmaster, The Block Rocker and The Block Surfer. All cabinets are available as a 16 ohm or 8 ohm load. You can specify your preference for open or closed back and the new boutique “Oval Back” is available for an additional charge.
The Block Bluesmaster is a guitar cabinet that is comparable to the 60’s British style combo amplifiers. Made with ½” thick shell, a valance and all of the previously mentioned options, this can compliment your current gear very nicely. It comes in 1x12”, 2x10” and 2x12” configurations with your choice of white, gold or silver piping.
The Block Rocker is a guitar cabinet that is comparable to the 60’s and 70’s British style extension cabinets. This cabinet is a little more robust than the Bluesmaster. Made with a 5/8” thick shell, these cabinets are built to rock. They are available in a 1x12”, 2x10”, a variety of 2x12” configurations and the standard 4x10” and 4x12” cabinets that everyone uses. The four speaker cabinets can also be wired in mono/stereo for an additional $50. Removable casters are available for an additional charge.
The Block Surfer guitar cabinets are similar to the American style cabinets of the 60’s and 70’s. They are made with a ½” thick shell and come in 1x12, 2x10”, 2x12”, 4x10” and 4x12” configurations. All of the tolex and grill cloth options are available at no charge but the white, gold or silver piping will cost an extra $10.

David Lee Roth is Back!! A New VanHalen Tour is Here!!

It has been a long time coming for the return of David Lee Roth to team up with the original VanHalen band members, well all except for Michael Anthony anyways! We have heard rumours through the years but now it has made it to reality!
We have featured on the homepage of BuzzXD.com the video press announcement of the return of VanHalen going on tour which will take off here in a couple of weeks!
I don't know about the BuzzXD readers but I for one will have to be at that show as I am a big big original Vanhalen fan!! Good luck guys!
